Delivery

We ship to all 48 contiguous states in the United States. For orders shipping to the noncontiguous states, i.e. Alaska and Hawaii, please reach out to us at customerservice@linusbike.com to get a shipping estimate.

On average it takes 5-7 business days, when the items are in stock. Shortly after placing an order you will receive an email confirming that your order has been received and is now being processed. Once we ship your order, you will be provided with a track and trace code via email.

Our shipping fees vary depending on categories and orders amount

Bike Shipping Fees

  • Adult Bike: $50/unit
  • Kids bikes: $40/unit
  • eBikes: $150/unit
  • Tricycles: $20/unit

Accessory Shipping Fees

  • For order amount between $0-$50: $10 shipping fee
  • For order amount between $50.01-$99.99: $15 shipping fee
  • For order amount between $100-$165: $20 shipping fee

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns on regular-priced items within 30 days of purchase - or within 30 days of shipment for backordered items.

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Brand new
  • Unused
  • In original packaging

Please note:
All discounted products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

How to Initiate a Return
Email customerservice@linusbike.com to request a return. A Linus customer service specialist will provide a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and return instructions.

For U.S. Orders:
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we’ll issue a refund of the original purchase amount, less any shipping costs (outbound and inbound), within 30 days.

For Canadian Orders:
Returns from Canada are accepted, but all duties, taxes, shipping (outbound and inbound), and other cross-border fees are the customer’s responsibility. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll refund the original purchase amount less all applicable cross-border fees within 30 days.

Important:
If the returned item shows signs of use, wear, or damage, it may not qualify for a full refund. In such cases, a restocking fee will be assessed based on the condition of the product, and you’ll be notified accordingly. This is because we’re unable to resell damaged or used products as new.

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you’d like a different item, please place a new order for the product you want, and then submit a return for the original item following our Return Policy.

This ensures the new item is processed and shipped without delay, and your refund will be issued once we receive and inspect the returned product.

Please note:

  • Only regular-priced items in brand new, unused condition and original packaging are eligible for return.
  • Discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • If a returned item shows signs of use or damage, a restocking fee may apply.

Please inspect your package upon delivery. If you believe your item is defective or was damaged in transit:

  1. of any visible damage to the packaging before opening it.
  2. and document any defects or issues.
  3. within 48 hours of delivery. You can access the form here.
  4. If you don’t hear back within 48 hours of submitting your claim, please contact us directly at warranty@linusbike.com.

Be sure to keep all boxes, packing materials, and paperwork until the issue is resolved.

Please inspect your package upon delivery.

If there is visible shipping damage, take clear photos of the box before opening it. If there is damage to the box and / or the product inside, please complete our Warranty Claim Form within 48 hours. A Linus customer service specialist will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you haven’t received a response within 48 hours of submitting your claim, please email us at warranty@linusbike.com.

Be sure to keep all boxes, packing materials, and paperwork until the issue is resolved.

Fees Related to Returns

  • This includes both the original outbound shipping and return shipping.
  • free shipping, your refund will be processed less the actual outbound and return shipping costs.

Return Fees by Product Type (per unit):

  • Electric Bikes: $150 (includes system rebooting and return shipping)
  • Adult Pedal Bikes: $50
  • Kids Pedal Bikes: $40
  • Accessories: $10 per accessory

To return a bike, it must be disassembled and securely reboxed with the original packaging.

You have a few options for this service:

  • Bring the bike to your local Linus dealer.
  • If a Linus dealer is not available, any reputable local bike shop can assist.
  • If your bike was assembled by a Velotooler mechanic, you may reach out to them directly to coordinate disassembly and reboxing.

Please note: Any disassembly or reboxing fees are at your expense and should be paid directly to the mechanic or shop.

Once we receive the returned item, it will be inspected for damage or signs of use. If necessary, a restocking fee will be assessed, communicated to you, and deducted from your refund.

All discounted items - including those purchased with promotional codes - are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

In-store Pickup & Ship-to-store

Free shipping applies to accessories of $100 or more in value, for “In-Store Pickup” items that are shipped to and picked up at your local participating Linus Bike dealer.

After entering your shipping address in the check-out process, you will be presented with “In-Store Pickup”, “Ship to Door”, and “Assembled & Delivered” options. If you select “In-Store Pickup”, you will be presented with nearby participating Linus Bike dealer shipping location options.

They will be broken out into two sections:

- Inventory Available

- Ship to Store

Dealers listed in the “Inventory Available” section currently have your selected item in-stock, and it can be reserved for in-store pickup. One of these dealers may be your optimal choice for “In-Store Pickup” because the item can be picked up within a few days.

Dealers listed in the “Ship to Store” section do not currently have your selected item in-stock, but they can restock that item within 7 business days, and have it ready for pickup.

One of these dealers may be your optimal choice for “In-Store Pickup” because they are a short distance from your location.

No, you will not need to pay for assembly. When you get your bike delivered to your selected dealer, it will be assembled by a professional bike mechanic.

Please note: The dealer may need an additional 2-3 business days to build up the bike. Be sure to call the dealer to confirm when your bike will be ready for pick-up.

For “In-Store Pickup” orders with inventory currently available, you should be able to pick up your item(s) within 24 hours, during store hours. Be sure to call the local participating Linus Bike dealer in advance if the item requires assembly.

If the items are not currently available in-store, they will be shipped to the local participating Linus Bike dealer within 5-7 business days. Be sure to call the local participating Linus Bike dealer to confirm when your bike will be ready for pick-up.

No, your Official Sales Receipt will be provided to you when you complete your transaction at the store where you pick up your items.

Bring the “Ready for Pick Up” email, which includes the in-store pick-up verification code, as well as your photo ID, and the credit card you used to make your purchase online, as proof of purchase.

We sell a selection of curated brands online to compliment your Linus bike & lifestyle.

If “Ship To Store” is selected, these products will automatically split into a separate order and shipped to your shipping address entered during the check out process. They will not be shipped to the dealer with your other Linus products.

Ship To Door

Yes, in some cases. In areas where Linus does not have a local participating Linus Bike dealer in place, you can have your bike sent directly to your home. If this is the case, “Ship to Door” will show up at the time of checkout.

Though our bicycles come 90% assembled out of the box, we strongly encourage you to work with a professional mechanic to assemble your bicycle.


If your order includes only accessories, we can ship those items directly to your home. Make sure to select “Ship to Door” at check out.

Payment Options

Every order is securely processed according to industry-standard SSL Web encryption, in compliance with the International Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Linus Bike and the dealers in our network never store any credit card information.

Online orders are handled separately from in-store purchases. In order to secure your order and reserve your item, online orders can only be purchased and paid for online.

Online purchases can only be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Credit Cards. There is one exception to the rule: payment can also be made with a Visa Debit Card.

Your credit card will be charged upon online order placement.

You will receive a confirmation email letting you know that your order was received.

No, there is no maximum or minimum quantity of items purchased, or purchase amount required.

What is UL 2271

UL 2271 is a safety standard developed by UL specifically for e-bike lithium-ion battery packs. This certification evaluates the safety and performance of the battery pack, including its electrical and thermal characteristics, mechanical integrity, protection against potential hazards, and prevention of fire.
